Mark Brookes
Mark has been a member of the NDT board since 2001, before that he was a service user board member for the former miniterial advisory body of the Department of Health on learning disabilities. Mark also worked on the DH funded 'Making Decision' initiative for people with learning disabilities. More recently he has been working on research around Black and Ethnic Minority projects, worked with the Disability Rights Commission as a seminar facilitator, and working to promote the 'Individual Budget' initiative across England for people with learning disabilities.
Mark is currently employed by Values Into Action as a project worker.
Mark lists his interests as 'travelling, going to new places and meeting people'.
