DIRECT PAYMENTS

About NDT training on Direct Payments
Workshop combinations

These workshops can be attended one at a time, in stages under specific headings (breadth or depth) or combined to suit individual requirements.
Training style
The training consists of a mixture of short presentations, with much of the time spent in group work in order to promote reflection, discussion and creative ideas for action. As part of learning about Direct Payments, participants are encouraged to look at their own lives and explore how this can teach them about implementing Direct Payments with people who use services.
Intended participants
The courses are aimed at statutory, voluntary or independent sector organisations as well as people who use services and/or their families and carers. (The NDT does not provide ‘one-off’ training places to individual applicants).
